I made a few updates to the website! I changed the absolute positioning of the content to dynamic so it would display well on most screen sizes, and increased the font size and style. I'm hoping that it make the site easier to read and navigate. Oh! And I designed a custom cursor!
I'm considering changing my weekly routine to not have a set schedule for work hours, but rather a set goal for the week. This way I can work when I'm feeling productive and take breaks when I need them. I think this will help me manage my time better and reduce stress. I'm still going to log my hours worked each day, but I won't be as strict about when I work.
My goal for next week is to finish the health component (and HP bar) for the player and initial mob for my game as well as the damage component and weapons for both.
I also recently watched The Sunset Limited. Here is my review of it transcribed immediately after watching it:
"Um... that was SO enjoyable to watch together b/c it got us talking about so much stuff. And it was one of those films where they were just sitting in one room and you enjoyed it the whole time, that's hard to do. I appreciated it for that too. Um... the acting was really really good. Even though this guy was trying to give him hope in god I didn't feel like he was an annoying evangelical. I was kinda ok with how he approached everything. Um... The ending was kind of sad, obviously... yeah... I really really enjoyed it. I could probably watch it again b/c I feel like there was a lot said. Idk if it was meant to be a religious film... I guess its one view of atheism... Um... I give it 5/5, it was really enjoyable."
I would like to add that I don't mean all evangelicals are annoying. Additionally, I really didn't like how the atheist character had such a negative outlook on life. There is such thing as optimisitic nihilism. Life can still be enjoyed even if "nothing really matters" or we're all doomed to be in pain and eventually die. This movie brought up a lot of interesting discussions between my friends and I.
Thank you for reading and take care! ♡
